EA has announced a limited time sale on digital content available on Xbox LIVE, including DLC, Xbox LIVE Arcade games, and Games On Demand. The list is packed with titles like Dragon Age: Origins, Battlefield 2, and Shank. Here’s what they have to say about it:

If you didn’t get exactly what you wanted for the holidays, this week’s Xbox LIVE Arcade sale is your chance to settle up, settle in, and find a few new ways to play. Save up to 50% on engaging arcade titles like Gatling GearsShankand Risk Factions, or pick up some discounted DLC for your favorite EA games.

EA’s Xbox LIVE Arcade sale, which continues all the way through Monday, January 9, puts 24 unique pieces of content from BioWare, EA Sports, and more up for download through Xbox Live. Dig up the dark truth behind Hawke’s lineage in the Legacy expansion for Dragon Age 2, reclaim a powerful and bacon-y Artifact in DeathSpank, or give new shape to your nightmares with the Severed expansion for Dead Space 2.

2010 is the year that Rock Band goes into overdrive with the release of Rock Band 3. On top of the 1500 tracks available in the Rock Band family, Rock Band 3 is going to sport an incredible 83-song setlist with songs from some of the best bands of all time. This time they’ve got bands from across the planet AND bands that have never before been seen in a music game. Harmonix and EA have promised that weekly DLC releases are going to continue into the future as well.

There’s a ton of new gameplay here, and as a Rock Band fanatic I’m absolutely stoked. I’m pre-ordering the Squier Strat as soon as I can, and I’ll be adding the Midi connectors to my Drum Rocker and my Midi keyboard at home.

What’s that? Keyboards? YES! Rock Band 3 is going to include keyboard tracks, meaning that you’ll have a whole lot more to do in songs by The Who. This essential element, along with vocal harmonies, means you’ll get the most realistic Rock Band experience ever. Continue reading »

 

LucasArts has revealed the contents of the Collector’s Edition to the sequel of last year’s hit: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Gamers will take control of Starkiller once again. Vader’s former apprentice is on the run from the Empire, a fugitive from the cause he once served. He must take up the mantle of an unlikely hero, igniting the flames of rebellion in a galaxy desperately in need of a champion.

Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers to embark on a journey of discovery. He must find his own true identity, and search for the woman he loves, Juno Eclipse. Vader is in pursuit of Starkiller, needing him to complete a clone of his former apprentice as he tries to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. Continue reading »
