It’s Sonic’s 19th Birthday and to celebrate we’ve got four classic Sonic games on sale on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. If you love 2D sidescrolling hyperspeed platforming you’ll enjoy these. Recast in HD, and with both Local and XBL mutliplayer (in Sonic 2 and 3) these games will provide hours of fun for 240MSP each.

Shadow Complex
Probably my favourite XBLA title of all time, Shadow complex is on for the ridiculously fair price of 560MSP. This Metroidvania clone was penned by Orson Scott Card (Ender’s Game) and put together by the brilliant guys at Chair entertainment. Shadow Complex is worth it at full price, so at 560MSP it’s a steal.
Trials HD
Ringing in at 560MSP this console port is a brilliant adaptation of the PC hit. It’s a phsyics-based motorcycle game with 50 tracks and two game modes. Tons of unlockables and a global leaderboard make this a good buy. Continue reading »
